The mission of Fish Hospitality Pantries is to prevent hunger in Knoxville and create true community.
FISH provides food packages each month to over 7,000 families with four pantries in the Knoxville area. They also distribute nearly 8,000 Kids BOOST food bags, especially created to address the nutritional needs of children.
According to FISH, sharing food is an opportunity to create true community—where all are welcome, everyone is treated with respect, and the voices of the marginalized are amplified, recognized, and valued. To achieve this goal, FISH provides food to people in a way that respects their human dignity. No one has to register or prove financial need. Instead, guests simply show up at one of the four Knoxville neighborhood FISH pantries and select the items they’d like
to take home.
FISH provides three easy ways to support their mission:
- Donate funds by making a tax-deductible contribution.
- Volunteer your time at a local pantry.
Purchase special occasion cards – special greeting cards with beautiful artwork to send to a family member or friend.
