Since 1942, Ladies of Charity (LOC) Knoxville has consistently addressed the immediate and emergency needs of the underserved, unemployed and underemployed people in the Knoxville area, regardless of race, creed, color, or country of origin.
Ladies of Charity Knoxville’s services are designed to support our community comprehensively. Some key notes:
- 96 cents of every dollar goes back to their emergency assistance program (as confirmed by an independent audit review).
- In 2023, Ladies of Charity Knoxville had over 400 volunteers donating 20,000 service hours.
- 80% of LOC’s clients are working families.
- LOC provides career clothing and work footwear to individuals who are reentering the workforce.
