More about Paul Fain:
During the past 30 years as a financial planner, Paul has evolved from apprentice to planner, to a professional leader who believes that financial planning is a life-changing service.
He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee (B.S.) and has a master’s degree from Ohio University (M.S.A.). Paul earned the Certified Financial Planner™ designation in 1990.
He has served on national committees for the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and its predecessor. He was a chairperson of the FPA Retreat Conference for advanced practitioners in 2007 and returns to the organizing task force for Retreat 2019.
Paul is an expert commentator on financial planning topics for WBIR television and the Knoxville News-Sentinel. He has been a columnist for Research Magazine and an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Tennessee. He regularly provides keynote addresses, breakout sessions, and workshops at venues ranging from local corporations to national conferences.
Paul has served on the Boards of the Better Business Bureau of East Tennessee, the Farragut High School Education Foundation, and the Professional Advisory Board of the Department of Family and Consumer Science at Carson Newman University.
Paul and his wife, Tina, have three children, Macy, Jackson, and Harrison. They enjoy their faith community, outdoor activities, movies, travel, and good food.
